The School of Evolutionary Herbalism and Botanical Consciousness brings together numerous wisdom traditions from around the world to create a universal understanding of plants, nature, health, and human consciousness. In our program, we weave together the shamanic, alchemical, ayurvedic, and traditional western perspectives of botanical medicine, creating a truly unique and holistic foundation in herbal studies. This program is designed to provide a solid foundation for the beginning herbal enthusiast, or to refine and deepen an advanced practitioners work with the plants.
We see herbalism not only as a system of healing, but as a method of evolving consciousness and learning to live in alignment with our true essential nature. An equal balance of science and spirit, we teach all aspects of plant medicine, from molecular pharmacology and mechanisms of action, to the energetic, spiritual and planetary aspects, and how they all weave together into a cohesive organic unity.
Each module builds progressively upon the one preceding it. We begin with building direct relationships with the plants through plant meditations, attunements, tastings, daydreaming, and shamanic journeys to visit the spiritual ecology of the plant spirits. Through our direct experiences with plant intelligence, we come to know the essential nature of our remedies and how to effectively use them. This work is balanced with in depth study of plant energetics according to the Greek, Eclectic, Physiomedicalist, and Ayurvedic traditions, along with their relationships to modern pharmacology. Our work with the plants will deepen with ethical wildcrafting practices, medicine making skills, herbal actions, tastes, and their correspondences to the 4 Elements, 3 Principles and 7 Planetary archetypes.
